rapid no: 11?

The
wave at rapid no 11 has been surfed for many years, but
until now has been largely a well kept secret, the tubing
wave forms twice a season. Usually sometime in July
as the river drops and late January as the river rises.
This feature changes daily forming a perfect a tube.
The
arrival of the tube on number is variable but can be
predicted a month before. For further

Thezambezi.com organises transfers to and from the
rapid at reasonable costs depending on the size of the
group.
Lifejackets are essential and available for hire.
A guide for the first day is essential, porters are
available to aid with carrying equipment.
This wave is not for novices, however if one is used to
handling a strong reef break will have no problem.
