Helicopter Flight Over Victoria Falls
A scenic flight over Victoria Falls is such a spectacular trip, it is something that if finaces allow, should be done. Flights are around 15 minutes flying time and take in several passes over the falls. If you are on the kayaking trip with some friends, this can be the perfect way for you to all experience this together, with the 3, 4 and 6 seater helicopters on offer for this flight. With a stills or video camera in hand, you will be guaranteed plenty of spectacular images no matter where you sit... and you may well see a few animals on the way back too!
Your Helicopter Flight
You'll be collected from your hotel or backpackers and taken to the Maramba Aerodrome at a predetermined time. From here you'll be take to the helicopter, given a safety talk and asked to sign an indemnnity form. You'll take off towards the falls over the Upper River where you make that first breath taking flight over the falls, taking in The Devils Cataract and the main curtain as well as having spectacular views of the Batoka Gorge where you have been kayaking. The pilot will make multiple passes over the Victoria Falls for you to ensure you get the best photos possible, before he flies you back to the aerodrome. On occasion sometimes we make a pass over the Mosi O Tunya National Park for your chance to see some excellent wildlife before we land.
